Eversolar Inverter Problems, Faults, Not Working: Call for Repair

In 2012, the Eversolar company had changed its name to Zeversolar. Eversolar had a few issues regarding their early inverters but by the end of 2012, SMA Group made a stake in the company, allowing German engineers to improve the quality of its inverters. Eversolar Inverter Faults

Like any other solar inverters, Eversolar also has its own fair share of inverter faults that are experienced by its users. Below are some of the most common inverter faults:

Isolation Fault

An Isolation Fault message on your Eversolar inverter could mean that there is wrong with the cables or wiring or it could mean that there is an internal fault with the inverter. If all the solar system cables are all properly connected, then you should already contact a solar expert because your inverter is not working.

Relay Fault

When an Eversolar inverter has a Relay Fault error, it will reboot itself until the problem is fixed. However, if it keeps displaying the same message after countless reboots, there is something wrong with the inverter and it might be best to contact a solar expert to look at it.

Eversolar Inverter Installation Manual

For those who want to understand their Eversolar inverter better, consulting the user installation manual should be your go-to guide. It should come with the inverter when you bought it, but if you lost it, you can always download the manual here.

Eversolar Inverter Warranty

Eversolar inverters generally have a warranty period of 60 months or 5 years from the date of purchase. Eversolar (now Zeversolar) will not shoulder the shipment of the replacement and so the customer will have to pay for it if the warranty is successfully processed.

How Do I Make a Warranty Claim?

To claim the warranty for you Eversolar inverter, you need to prepare the following requirements, documents or information:

  • The proof of purchase that will show that the inverter is within the warranty period
  • The warranty card that was issued by the dealer
  • The defective inverter in its original or equivalent packaging with the label type legible.

Eversolar or Zeversolar has the right to refuse your warranty replacement request if you have not meet the requirements listed above.

Anew Solar can help you forward your warranty request even if you did not purchase your inverter with us. You only have to give us the requirements and we will wait for the replacement. If the replacement arrives, we will schedule a date to install it.

Eversolar Inverter Troubleshooting & Repairs

Some Eversolar inverter error or faults can be fixed with a few simple steps. Below are some common errors and how to repair them by yourself:

Not Working

If your Eversolar inverter is not working, check if the solar system cables are properly connected. Sometimes, there are loose wires or unplugged cables that stops the inverter from working. However, if all the cables are intact and the inverter is still not working, it is time to contact a solar technician to oversee the issue.

No Display

If the LCD screen of your Eversolar inverter is not displaying any message, it is hard to figure out what is wrong with it. It could mean that the inverter is not getting DC power or the inverter itself is broken. Check if the DC isolator is switched on. You can also restart the inverter to fix the problem. However, if the inverter is still not displaying any messages, call a solar expert right away.

Relay Check Fail

When your Eversolar inverter keeps rebooting and displaying the Relay Check Fail message, follow these steps to fix the issue:

  1. Turn off the solar supply main switch and/or the AC isolator.
  2. Turn off the PV Array DC isolator.
  3. Wait for one minute until the inverter is totally shut down.
  4. Turn on the AC isolator and/or solar supply main switch.
  5. Turn on the PV Array DC isolator.

This should fix the Relay Check Fail error and the inverter will stop rebooting. However, if the message still remains, it is time to contact a solar expert.

Utility Loss

If the Utility Loss error is displayed on your Eversolar inverter, it means that the inverter is not detecting any power coming from the electric grid. Before you call a solar technician, do the following steps first:

  1. Check if the AC isolator is turned on.
  2. Check if the solar supply main switch is on.
  3. Check if the AC plug is correctly properly into the inverter.

The inverter should be working properly if all the steps are followed. However, if the error message is still displayed, you already need to contact an accredited solar technician to solve the problem.
